Sclater Street Shoreditch July 14 2014
I have been busy working on some small canvases for a new market that is opening in Shoreditch London. The market is at Sclater Street right next to Shoreditch High Street Station and is open for the first time this Saturday 19th July 2014. I am making small works of art including some painted bottles as I will have a stall to display my work on. Manny Gyumova wrote a wonderful piece about my work on her blog that can be found here http://sclaterstreetstallsblog.com/2014/06/25/yvonne-wayling-2
Just a Peek June 10 2014This last month I have been busy stencil painting a set of champagne bottles for a window display. The reason it has taken so long is because they are all different sizes and I wanted to make them work as a set. Here is just a preview of them, I will post a picture of them soon once they are in the window.
Can You See Me? May 20 2014
My painting 'This is Why' is now in the Ben Oakley Gallery 9 Turnpin Lane, Greenwich Market, London SE10 9JA.
Testing May 13 2014I've been busy cutting stencils, then testing them to make sure I like them, before spray painting through them onto bottles. I am painting a set of beautiful champagne bottles for a display so I need them to be perfect.
Large Stencils March 10 2014
I have spent some time cutting a set of large stencils for a canvas 80cm x 80cm. I am planning to spray paint more detail into the larger and bolder image. This is a look at the beginning of spray painting the first two stencils.
Film Of Bottles in Shoreditch January 17 2014
A short film of my bottles in the Far Rockaway window at Shoreditch that I have edited together from small clips that I shot while helping with the display.

Mardy October 12 2013
Friday night was the private view for Rowan Newton and Carne Griffiths' joint show called "Mardy" at the Ben Oakley Gallery. All the work features one model as their subject represented in their own individual style.
The Gallery was overflowing with collectors, artists and friends of the Gallery who went on to socialise until early morning.
A joint limited edition print featured a side by side portrait by each artist making it possible to have both Carne and Rowan's work in one picture. For more information and image see the Ben Oakley Gallery website Show runs until the 22nd September 2013.
Art at Far Rockaway September 18 2013
The Farrockaway restaurant in Curtain Road, Shoreditch opened this weekend and my window display is in place. The bottles are stacked back to back so you can also see them from inside the bar. It was the first time that I had seen them altogether as this is a really big window display and I don't have an equivalent space. I am really pleased with the finished look.
100 Bottles July 30 2013
This is one of a hundred bottles I am spray painting faces on for a window display in a soon to open London restaurant. It is a really lovely project as the bottles are a mix of shapes, sizes and colours with different labels and tags on them. Each time I open a new box I find another interesting bottle that I will want to cut a stencil for. I will post more images and more information on the project as I get further into the work.
